Victim of drowning incident passed away

A 64-year old woman died after a drowning incident. A community member was last seen swimming in the lake at night. The woman died after going for a late-night swim at Pukatawagan Lake.

Watery ordeal

The police responded to a report of a body in the lake, around 700 kilometers northwest of Winnipeg. Upon the arrival of the officers, the community members already pulled the body of the woman from the water.

The woman who lives in Pukatawagan was last seen swimming in the lake late at night. The police are investigating the drowning incident.
