A man on Salt Spring Island died despite delivery of CPR. The incident is under investigation by the police. According to the RCMP, the officers responded to reports of a fight on Richard Flack Road.

They found 2 men performing CPR on an unresponsive man. The Salt Spring Island RCMP continued to perform CPR on the 36-year old man. He was transported to a healthcare facility but he was declared dead.
