A child from a burning house was given CPR. A Langley mother rescued two of her children from their burning home but was not able to save her two-year old boy from the flames.
House fire incident
Sadly, the child died after being pulled from the house by firefighters. The crews rushed to the rural house in Langley Township after a frantic call that the toddler was trapped inside.
The child’s father and another neighbor attempted to get into the home after the mother’s failed attempt but were not able to get past the flames and smoke.
The Langley Township firefighters managed to get the boy out and performed CPR before the arrival of the paramedics on the property. The youngster died from his injuries a short time later after being transported to a healthcare facility.
Tim Killey, a relative of the family stated that there was no possible way anybody could get into the house. They had fire extinguishers and other items but there was no chance whatsoever.
Prompt delivery of care
The immediate delivery of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is important. This life-saving technique can save lives by improving the chances of survival during emergencies.
