Teen who was swept over a waterfall received CPR

A 16-year old boy received CPR after swept over a waterfall. The RCMP stated that the teenage boy died after he was swept over a waterfall while swimming near Vancouver.

Incident at the waterfall

In a news release, it stated that the 16-year old was swimming above Granite Falls with some friends at the north end of Indian Arm in Coquitlam when he was swept over.

The boy fell around 15 meters, leaving him with serious injuries. The police stated that the witnesses including off-duty nurses, helped pull the boy from the water and performed CPR, but he died of his injuries.
