Multiple vehicular crashes resulted in one fatality

An individual was reportedly killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Chilliwack. The incident involved at least 3 other vehicles. One vehicle rested on the roof and front windshield of another.

Vehicular ordeal

Several ambulances, firefighters, and the police responded to the crash which occurred at around 4:30 PM just east of the Vedder Road overpass in the westbound lane.

The emergency responders were seen delivering CPR on the scene to one of the victims.

The westbound traffic was diverted to Yale Road West as the landing zone was established in the westbound lane. The incident affects the traffic in both directions.
