A 76-year old man who was found unconscious received CPR. The man was found unconscious on Lake of the Woods in Hope, B.C.
Watery ordeal
Kayakers discovered the body of the elderly man floating on the lake’s north side at around 4 PM and brought him to shore. They performed CPR but were not successful in resuscitating him.
The police believe that the man who is from Sidney, B.C was likely dead before he was given first aid care. The man was only wearing swimming trunks when he was found. The police believe that he likely drowned or suffered from another type of medical distress while in the water and do not suspect foul play.
