Ian Flynn is the CPR trainer for all employees with Casino Nova Scotia and has been doing it for 35 years. It was at that moment when it was the first time that he saved a life.

At around 12:30 PM, a patron got up from the game he was playing at the casino, took a few steps, and fell to the floor. A slots attendant who saw the man fall radioed Flynn. He was at the side of the man under a minute along with two other members of the security staff.
