Carver performs CPR on young girl after drowning incident

A carver saved the life of a young girl with CPR after a drowning incident. The carver was going door to door selling his carvings when he ended up saving a life.

Thomas Nibgoarsi was walking around the community when he saw a young girl waving her arms and begging for help. He stated that he did not think it was a big deal and started walking away until another young girl informed him that her friend was drowning.

When he remembered the steps, he delivered CPR on the young girl. The young girl is now in Winnipeg for medical treatment.

Prompt intervention with CPR

Nibgoarsi rushed to the ice and upon arrival, he saw her hat and what appeared to be clothes and then grabbed her. He handled the situation on his own.

He was worried since no one was around. Luckily, he was taught how to perform CPR. When he remembered the steps, he delivered CPR on the young girl. The young girl is now in Winnipeg for medical treatment.
