A $1,000 ticket was given to the owner of a diner for not wearing a face mask.
When the owner of the diner voiced out his concerns online against mask-wearing, it ignited complaints to the police and Public Health. It was then that a ticket was delivered to the owner.
In the ticket that was given to the diner owner, it cites Section 71 of the Health Protection Act, requiring a face mask to cover the nose and mouth while in all indoor public spaces.
The owner stated that he and his staff in the diner wear bandanas. Sadly, it was not a suitable alternative to face mask according to the Chief Medical Officer of Health of Nova Scotia.
