An unresponsive man was pulled from Britannia Beach and given CPR. The lifeguards pulled an unresponsive swimmer from the Ottawa River at Britannia Beach.
Prompt intervention
The man was found floating face down in the water. The man was given cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and quickly transported to a healthcare facility where the staff continued with the resuscitation efforts.
According to the paramedics, the man has yet to regain consciousness.
