A serious collision involving several vehicles stopped the traffic on Highway 1 in Burnaby during the rush hour commute. A white pickup truck was traveling west when it crashed with the center median and ended up in the eastbound lanes.
The first responders were seen performing CPR on the truck driver before they were rushed to the hospital.
The extent of the driver’s injuries remains unclear and it is still unknown if anyone else was injured or what caused the crash. Footage from the scene showed a severely damaged gray-colored sedan.
