With athletes returning to training and people heading back to the gym, there are still some questions about whether or not to wear a mask.
In June, the World Health Organization published information about wearing masks, stating that it was not a good idea to wear a face-covering during exercise.
It has been stated by WHO that sweat can make the mask wet. This makes it harder to breathe and promotes the growth of microorganisms.
Some risks come with wearing a mask during training sessions. The incorrect use of wearing the mask from slippage can cause the mask to come down your nose.
In terms of getting quality breath, various studies are looking at oxygen saturation and C02 levels. Based on the data, it showed no significant decrease in oxygen levels and only a slight increase in carbon dioxide levels.
