The Pembroke Regional Hospital stated that it has been able to get enough supplies for patients and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The hospital is accepting donations of unexpired personal protective equipment such as face masks and gloves.
The Pembroke Regional Hospital released a statement saying it has reached out to businesses and individuals who may have a surplus, unopened and unexpired personal protective equipment. According to the President and CEO, many have offered services and others have offered or provided donated items.
The Pembroke Regional Hospital needs the following:
- Hand sanitizer
- N95 masks
- Latex-free gloves
- Surgical masks
- Disinfectant wipes
- Level 2 isolation gowns
- Protective eyewear (safety goggles, shields)
The Pembroke Regional Hospital shared that it is working with health care facilities and hospitals in the region to ensure that there will be enough supplies to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.
