Man who died after targeted shooting given CPR

A 29-year old man who died after a targeted shooting received CPR. According to the police, it is believed to be a targeted shooting in the parking lot of a Surrey hotel.

Target shooting claims a life

Shots were heard at the Comfort Inn & Suites at Fraser Highway and 166 Street. Upon arrival of the Mounties, they found a man inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. The witnesses informed CTV Vancouver that there were up to 5 gunshots and they saw officers performing CPR at the scene a short time later.

The police later confirmed that the man died of his injuries. He has been identified as Birinderjeet Justin Bhangu of Surrey. IHIT stated that Bhangu is known to police and preliminary evidence indicates the shooting was targeted.
