An Oakville man who died in a single-vehicle crash was given CPR. When a pickup truck veered into a ditch, an off-duty nurse was able to perform CPR but the man died in a healthcare facility.
Vehicular crash claims a life
Police west of Toronto are investigating a single vehicle crash in Oakville, Ont. On Friday evening that claimed the life of a 50-year old local man.
The Halton region police stated that the man’s Dodge Ram pickup truck veered into a ditch on Regional Road 25. The police stated that an off-duty nurse stopped at the site of the accident and performed CPR on the man before he was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he was later declared dead.
Immediate response during emergencies
