Regina First Aid is proud to offer provincially recognized Standard First Aid courses, also known as Intermediate First Aid. This widely popular course provides comprehensive training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of automated external defibrillators (AED), equipping participants with essential life-saving skills.
Covering over a dozen first aid emergencies, this 18-hour course is one of the most thorough and sought-after first aid programs in Canada. Participants can choose from two CPR levels, with CPR Level “C” included as the standard option. For those requiring advanced training, there’s also the option to upgrade to CPR “HCP” / BLS (Health Care Provider).
This course meets all legislative requirements for first aid certification in Regina, making it an ideal choice for both workplace and personal safety training.

Candidates in this course will cover the following emergencies:

Learn how to manage unconscious victims and other lifesaving techniques by enrolling in standard first aid training in Regina. CPR for victims of all ages (including infants).
- Conscious and unconscious obstructed (Choking)victims of all ages.
- Respiratory emergencies including asthma and anaphylaxis.
- Circulatory emergencies (includes heart attacks, angina, and strokes).
- Deadly bleeding.
- Internal bleeding.
- Fractures and broken bones.
- Sprains and strains.
- Environmental emergencies.
- Spinal injuries.
- Seizures
- Diabetic Emergencies (including hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia)
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Degree Burns.
- Poisons.
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training.
The Standard First Aid course typically runs between 18 to 20 hours, depending on the class size and instructor.

- Blended Learning Option: $134.99 (combines online learning with in-class training)

At Regina First Aid, we believe in creating a stress-free learning environment. If you don’t pass the course on your first attempt, you can retake the course at no additional cost.

- Refunds: Available up to 72 hours before the course start date. After that, refunds will no longer be processed.
- Transfers: Free of charge if requested 72 hours before the course. Within 72 hours, a $25 transfer fee applies.
- Rescheduled Events: Unfortunately, no refunds are available for rescheduled courses.
