Regina First Aid offers stand-alone workplace-approved CPR courses. These classes are designed for people that only need CPR training. These courses include training and certification in the use of automated external defibrillators (AED). No first aid training or certification is included in this course. CPR training meets the standards and guidelines set by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). Successful candidates will workplace approved certification awards that are valid for 3 years except for CPR HCP which certificate is valid for 1 year. Candidates have the option of selecting from a variety of different CPR levels mentioned below.
Different Types of CPR Training:
Candidates can select a CPR course from the following selection:
- CPR level A and AED in Regina
- CPR level C and AED in Regina
- CPR level “C” for health care providers (also known as CPR “HCP”)

Workplace Approved Certification:
When candidates successfully complete the course they will receive a provincially recognized certificate that is valid for 3 years except for CPR HCP which certificate is valid for 1 year. The certificate is typically a wallet-sized card, however, candidates can opt for a wall-sized certificate for a small extra fee. Certificate meets many workplaces and academic standards/requirements and is nationally accredited (valid throughout Canada). Re-certification courses are available for CPR level “C” and CPR “HCP” courses.

Stand-alone CPR Course length:
CPR and AED courses vary in length depending on the level of CPR and ultimately the instructor. Course length ranges from 3 hours to 6 hours.

The cost of CPR and AED courses varies depending on the level of CPR. The course fee varies from 73.99 to 93.99. Course fee includes taxes, certification fee’s and workplace approved CPR manual.
